Orlando, Florida. March 30, 2007 -- The healthcare industry's annual conference focused on retail initiatives, Healthcare Retail '07, (www.HealthcareRetail07.com) announced today that Alicia Ledlie, Senior Director – Health Business Development of Wal-Mart Stores Inc, will address the conference. Healthcare Retail '07 takes place on April 12 & 13, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida.
Ledlie is Senior Director, Health Business Development at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. In this role she is responsible for identifying new business opportunities to expand customer offerings in the healthcare space. She also oversees the development and rollout of Wal-Mart’s in-store medical clinic business model.
Ledlie joined Wal-Mart in 2004, after graduating with an MBA from the London Business School. She began her career at Citigroup, working on HR strategy with their Corporate and Consumer businesses in New York and Italy. Alicia has a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
"As the world’s largest retailer, Wal-Mart will have a major impact as it begins to explore ways to increase its healthcare related offerings to its customers. Alicia’s presentation will provide unique insights into the company’s plans for products, services and potential relationships with hospitals and other healthcare providers. Every hospital executive in America needs to hear this presentation," stated Tony Paquin, CEO of The Paquin Group.
The Healthcare Retail '07 Conference is sponsored by The Paquin Group, the leading specialist in healthcare retail initiatives. These include hospital retail locations, e-commerce solutions, branding strategies, loyalty cards, private label brands, in-room education/television technology and medical day spas.
"Retail in healthcare is now seen as an important strategy for hospitals and healthcare systems to generate new, non-reimbursed sources of revenue," states Paquin.
