Paquin Healthcare is the Winner of 2008 eHealthcare Leadership Awards
November 11, 2008 – Paquin Healthcare Companies, Inc., a national leader in Retail Healthcare Solutions, was the recipient of two prestigious awards at the eHealthcare Leadership Awards held November 11-12 in Orlando Florida. Healthcare organizations, representing a broad industry spectrum, received recognition for their outstanding Web Sites at a special presentation in Orlando at the Healthcare Internet Conference. Sites receiving 2008 eHealthcare Leadership Awards were selected from more than 1,100 entries. A total of 114 individuals familiar with healthcare and the Internet judged the entries.
Paquin Healthcare received a Platinum Award for the Best eBusiness Site (Promedica Market Place) and a Gold Award for Best Overall Internet Site (Consumer Product Sales, Christushealthliving.com). Both websites are Ecommerce stores designed and managed by Paquin Healthcare specifically for hospital systems.
“A growing number of healthcare organizations are clearly embracing the Web and emerging technologies,” says Mark Gothberg, eHealthcare Leadership Awards chairman. “The 2008 awards program attracted entries from a diverse range of organizations. Even after the bar for winning an award was raised, a record number of sites made the cut.”
