Paquin Healthcare Companies Announces the Openings of Three New Retail Stores
December 1, 2008 - The Paquin Retail Implementation team, led by Jennifer Thompson, Vice President of Consulting, recently opened two new Retail Healthcare stores in conjunction with our hospital partners and will be opening a third in December. Each store is unique and has been customized by the Paquin Healthcare team to meet the needs of the hospital and their various stakeholders.
Heartland Hospital, located in St. Joseph, Missouri had a grand opening of a beautiful marketplace store called Sunshine Court. The store opened November 17, and had a record setting week due to some innovative marketing created to promote the store. The first 400 people who enrolled in the loyalty card/my healthy rewards program received a Heartland Health logo bag. The new store far exceeded their goals for both revenue and traffic.
BayCare Health System, in the Tampa Bay area, launched a store in their busy outpatient center. BayCare Ambulatory Services houses a variety of medical services including cancer treatment, imaging, medical offices, as well as a YMCA. This particular store is unique because it stocks a range of products that relate to care provided for patients in the facility. It also has amenities such as a 150 square foot coffee kiosk.
Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is opening December 15. The store is an upscale shopping experience for the employees and visitors located in the gorgeous atrium of the hospital. Product offerings include the Vera Bradley line, unique jewelry, gourmet foods, as well as health and wellness products for patients. The 2,600 square foot space includes amenities such as a floral design center and a gift wrapping station.
“It is rewarding to see how our hospital partners have embraced Retail Healthcare and have made significant strides to customize retail environments that are relevant to their long-range goals,” observes, Ms. Thompson.
